Please read these terms and conditions carefully, before using this site, as it is important for both of us that you understand our contractual relationship.

Your use of atontours.com is expressly conditioned on your acceptance of the terms and conditions that are following.

 

Reservation & Payment:

The carefully selected programs that are featured in our products tend to sell out fast. On account of this fact, early reservations together with a deposit of 50% are essential to ensure availability of space.

Rest of payment 50% can be settled upon arrival or before arrival.

 

Children Policy:

  • Children up to 4 years old: Free of charge except the flight tickets.
  • Children between 4 to fewer than 12 years old will enjoy with a discount of 50% from adult rate.
  • Children more than 12 years old: are considered as adults

Please Note

  • Children age will be calculated according to the documented date of birth.
  • For the domestic air fare, children will be charged according to their exact age on the day of the internal travel & for the hotels they will be charged according to the check-in day.
  • The Children below 12 years old will be in sharing parents’ room.

 

Cancellation:

Because of the special nature of the programs featured in the “market place”, suppliers impose rigid cancellation fees.

Please be aware that we have no control over such fees and cannot consider making any exceptions to these charges. So you will be charged as follows in case you cancelled your tour:

  •  % of the tour price. If cancellation made before 30 days prior your arrival date.
  • 50 % of the tour price. If cancellation made between 29 to 15 days prior your arrival date.
  • 75 % of the tour price. If cancellation made between 14 to 07 days prior your arrival date.
  • 100 % of the tour price. If cancellation made before 06 days prior your arrival date (No Refund(

Domestic airfares are subject to different rules and cancellation fees: some may be non-refundable. Details will be quoted per case.

Force Majeure and/or civil unrest will be treated differently and will follow different policy and conditions that will be advised in due time if ever.

Amendment of package dates:

Should you make any amendment in the confirmed dates of your selected package? Yes, you can change or amend the travel dates without any charge before arrival date, by 7 days; there is supplementary for the peak periods (Easter, Christmas & New Year) as well the fees of the flight tickets. If amendment the travel dates will be made less than 7 days prior to the arrival date, will be upon availability with supplement of change.

 

Unused Tour Items:

No refund will be made during your trip for any unused sightseeing tours, missed meals, transportation segments, accommodations, cruise portions, or any other service while your trip is running. Before your arrival date, by 7 days; you can e-mail us to skip any sightseeing tours or any other service of the tour to refund you.

 

Complaints:

If you have a problem or any complain from the hotel , Nile Cruise, Tour Guide or Driver booked through aton tours, you must contact our office immediately by telephone or e-mail, as we can solve the problem immediately, in the unlikely event that a complaint cannot be resolved at the time, you should write to us within 15 days of returning home, giving your original booking reference number and all the other relevant information, if you fail to take any of these steps this will hinder our ability to put the problem right and/or investigate it fully and any right you may have to receive compensation will be reduced or completely extinguished.

 

Health Requirements:

We are able to advise on mandatory health requirements in Egypt; however, we are not medical experts but we can provide professional doctors and all treatments for emergency cases.

 

Travel Documents:

All guests who visit Egypt must be in possession of a valid passport; its validity must be for 6 months beyond the tour date in Egypt.

 

General Information:

Charges not mentioned elsewhere in our product: Passport, Entry visa fees, laundry, international telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, custom duties, gratuities to tour guides, tour escort, Egyptologist and drivers, excess baggage charges, and extra charges for food ordered a la carte or from room service. These charges can be paid directly to them.

 

Sleeper Train:

Due to the fact that there are no triple cabins on board of the sleeper train, the rate of per person in triple (for the classical packages) is based on accommodation in one single plus one double cabin on the train

 

Nile Cruises:

Nile Cruise itinerary will be changed twice per year during the maintenance of Esna Lock

Nile Cruise itinerary may be changed without prior notice due to navigational or security restrictions.

The Cruise itinerary may be changed in sequence but not in visits.

 

St. Catherine’s Monastery:

The Monastery of St. Catherine is closed on Friday, Sunday as well as all Greek Orthodox’ Holidays.

 

The agreement acceptance:

Once your tour is confirmed and paid your deposit and it has been accepted by the company, the tour booking is then considered to be a legally obligated contract, and it refers that the customer has read and accepted the Terms and conditions that are listed above.

Both the company of aton tours and the customer are obligated to accept the agreement
